Calling all home workers! Are you struggling without community while you sit at home, trying to work out how to get anything done?
We have all been there in these times- and we are all trying to find our way through. For many who attended Sadeh’s most recent writing retreat, which took place online, it felt like a lifeline.
Not just because we had a bit more structure in our lives, but also because we were able to work in community- each and every day, if we so wished. That is why we have now started a virtual office for all those, Jewish or non, who want to create some stability in their lives at home. Our aim is not to help you to “return” to the “workplace”, but rather to give you structure so that you actually have some space to breathe- whatever it is that you are doing. A lot of work has gone into thinking through our structure, and we think it really helps people to focus: whether they are working their job from home, working on a PhD, spending time figuring out how to be a drag king, or focusing on any form of activism/self-care at this critical time.Nobody will be turned away from joining us for lack of funds, but we do have a payment structure- all the money goes into supporting Sadeh and the Virtual Office. We charge 6 pounds a week or 20 pounds a month. There is also the opportunity to earn 40 pounds here and there if you wish to be an “admin” for the week. Sadeh’s virtual office is currently on summer hols! We will be at back mid September. Please email sadehwriters@gmail.com if you are interested in joining.
