We hosted the farm’s first event on 4th Feb 2017 – an enchanted indoor forest themed Tu b’shevat party.
The evening kicked off with the inspiring kabbalastic tradition of a Tu b’shevat seder lead by Rachel Rose Reid and Yael Tischler, Kohenets, which will involve fruit and wine. This was followed by the Rebbetzin’s disco (by Jacqueline Nicholls), tu b’shevat art activities, apothecary cocktails, snacks, an after party and maybe a bonfire weather dependent!
For those who wanted to stay, the next morning we ran an Avodat lev (lots of singing!) session to start the day followed by breakfast and the planting of the first fruit trees on the farm.
All the food was vegan and delicious. And we are partnered with Moishe house which was awesome.
This event was made possible through the Charles and Lynn Schusterman Family Foundation’s Grassroots Initiative program.
